America has a long and terrible history of division and ultraviolence, but we are also unique among nations in the enlightened idea that no matter where you come from, you too can become an American.
Thank you for this enlightened perspective on our current situation and our history as a nation. I am learning so much from you Frank, and I am deeply grateful that I stumbled upon your Substack site.
I would say if you travel in a Time Machine into the fourth century AD as a fly on the wall of the second ecumenical council at Constantinople you would see the great divide. A philosophical decision made by a group of men searching for doctrinal laws to divide right from wrong. Two words… Almah(young woman) and Betulah(virginity).
One verse(Isaiah 7:14), one word(Almah).
A message meant for all mankind, the message of eternal life born from a young woman born from the “Throne of David”.
Think of life after “Immaculate Conception“, the damage of human kind being separated from a perfect nature because we were created in the image and likeness of God, not some “young woman”that had sex with the “spirit”.
This is the dilemma… the “fall of man”. What if we were never fallen? What if we are perfectly imperfect? I arrest the lies of immaculate conception and say, YAY! to perfection by design, not doctrine.
What do you mean by this: "we are also unique among nations in the enlightened idea that no matter where you come from, you too can become an American"?
Don't almost all countries allow immigration? Sure, other countries don't let you become an American but I'm pretty sure that's not what you meant.
Thank you.

Also, sounds a lot like left wing and right wing, not the whole bird.
Right and wrong, not the whole man.
