Under no circumstances are we able to initiate a paid subscription for any Substack user; users alone have this ability and carry the sole responsibility of managing the subscriptions that they have initiated.

Any and all refund requests for paid subscriptions must be made via email within 7 days of the charge. Bank disputes for charges in absence of this email request for refund will not be honored and these terms will be presented to the issuing bank stating such.

A Paid Subscription indicates that user is aware and bound by these Publisher Terms.

Any charges stemming from disputes initiated in the absence of this very simple and straightforward refund request will be billed back to the user at the rate of no less than $25 per incident plus the cost of the dispute ($15), plus the cost to counter the dispute ($15).

TL;DR: If the user made a mistake and signed up for a paid subscription on accident, kindly email us within 7 days to request a refund before initiating a dispute with the bank. This is your responsibility.
