Believing Trump’s BS with no real research is called willful ignorance! It likely incurable!

Well said.

The Trump dilemma aside, what's breaking my heart is the discovery of what has happened with you, Mr. Schaeffer. Having been previously inspired by some of your work, I eagerly subscribed to your podcast. Then, when I heard how unhinged you've become, I cancelled it as fast as possible. I'm sorry for whatever happened that has led you so far astray and into such darkness. You're a highly intelligent and talented individual, but your seething anger is disturbing to me. God loves you. So do I. However, I cannot support this new mission you're on.

I am never going to apologize for speaking out against Christian Nationalism or the Perversion of Faith, and especially not for sharing the truth about a Hitler-quoting fascist authoritarian with dictatorial aspirations.

If you find that mission disturbing or hateful or something you can’t support, you very well may be on the wrong side of history and you should examine your own life, not mine.

There are NO excuses for supporting Trump and you will find no comfort here if that is your plan.

I do not seek comfort from you or your podcast and as my opening comment indicated, I understand the Trump Dilemma and therefore won't need to make excuses. Trump was not at the core of my communication to you.

Like our Founding Fathers, I do not support the brand of Christian Nationalism you've been talking about.

Yes, Perversions of Faith abound and I, a sinful, unworthy believer in the True Faith frequently find myself at odds with both sides of political and social discourse. And surely, I do not find common ground with any Hitler-quoting fascist authoritarians.

My brief examination of your life was out of love and not judgement. If I failed to communicate that I apologize. I think while awkwardly expressed, it's clear what I was getting at. I regret leaving leaving the negative comment.

As chief among sinners, I will continue to examine my own life, seeking God's forgiveness. History, not so much.

Be well.

I’ve been with you since Crazy For God. Your assessment of our collective dilemma then, and even more so today, is prescient. Some are just too far gone to appreciate what you’re saying. Thats okay, we can only “save” (meaning rationality as an agnostic) those who want to be saved. There is no vaccine for willful blindness.
