They hate us all. They hate democracy. They hate what we do. They hate the freedom of our elections. And yet we are united in some things as Americans that should make us all proud to be here.
I never knew if you before Trump, although I grew up in TN, but by HS I was a devoted “agnostic “ in a sea of right wing John Bircher Baptists and I never thought of Koop as someone worthy of knowing. Recently a friend of mine who grew up in a southern Baptist household told me he had one of your father’s books! But I’m grateful that you’re around Frank!!
I am thankful for hearing this today. I clearly am a Kamala human, however it gave me a little space to breathe and remember a dream I had about George Bush Jr. I couldn't stand him then but I awoke from the dream realizing he loved this country as much as I did.
He would have made a decent president. Too bad he let Dick Cheney run his administration and be the de facto Prez while also pulling down millions from Halliburton, which goes a long way toward explaining why he made the head-scratching decision to invade Iraq.
