We have for a long time needed to have a way of talking about this topic that does not invoke a diety, devine laws, or that oh-so-pregnant 3-letter trigger word (for some) sin. You have made a splendid start.
Holy cow, Frank! This must be in the cosmos! It IS the most important question! today I listened to Dr. Ramani Durvasula on Mayin Bialik’s podcast, Breakdown. Her expertise is in the area of Narcissistic Personality. She says we need those Grandiose narcissists who make these technological gains for humanity and you rightly point out their emotional immaturity and disconnected relationships. I’d go a step further that at times these narcissistic genius innovators are a threat to social order, if not civilization in the extreme. It’s like you each have a piece of the puzzle and I would love to hear you two put these puzzle pieces together. Her new book- It’s Not You: Identifying and Healing from Narcissistic People.

Thank you for this episode. It has me rethinking and adjusting my priorities. I’ve been mulling this recently and your insightful comments. Confirm I need to look inward and do better in my relationships. I do try to be thoughtful, but know that I come up short at times due to the shadow of selfishness. Thank you again.
