Excellent proposals -- which also happen to be my own. But I wonder if this is a generational thing. Those of us who were actually educated, as opposed to being incarcerated in public institutions that exist to train corporate seals, learned the value of debate and of listening carefully to the opposing view--mining it for useable ideas and compromisable points. That's not taught any more. What is taught these days is "stand your ground" bullshit---which in essence means to reject instantly anyone else's ideas or views.
