My three best take-aways (of course there are many more) are: 1). "The social gospel **is** the Gospel". 2). It's the hypocrisy, stupid." and 3). "If someone said 'Jesus is alive and here in New Orleans', and I went on a find Jesus scavenger hunt, I would look in the French quarter, on the corner where the most prostitutes and transvestites were hanging out. I am almost certain that that's where Jesus would be."
