That was a really frank conversation. The Boy Scouts, the Marines, ... I guess somehow we probably have let ourselves become disconnected. Maybe, "way too cool for school" or something of that sort of mindset. Maybe we think that we all have to be James Bond, or Jack Bowers, or whatever (these guys never sleep and the action never stops).
You're right, it is probably the support network that is missing. As a youth, I didn't seek out things, so I can kind of see how that leads to this.
I know the army has that kind of brotherhood as well and I imagine the other branches of Service too so when you say the Marines are the most popular because of the looking out for each other brotherhood that’s great. They do but also do the other branches of service I have a family member who was in Desert children in Desert storm and he was 82nd airborne and that’s one of the things he emphasized
