I don't know why many journalists can't see the end game. Last year, when a ten year old had an abortion, Cathy Young, on the Bulwark, parroted right wing talking points. Many readers, including me, pushed back. She wouldn't listen and argued back. I, also, wrote that the evangelicals will not stop. They want a total ban in the US, then will try to impose it anywhere we send aid. Next they will go for birth control.
I remember going to hear you lecture at Spring Arbor University along with your dad in the mid-eighties. You were an angry man then as well only with a totally different flavor of the day. You talk about others using people Frank but I don't think you realize who's using you. Your anger (which you wear on your sleeve) I believe is the impetus of your blindness. Saul was also an angry man with venom, until the Damascus road brought temporary blindness for permanent sight by someone who told him who he was really persecuting. I am praying for a Damascus road moment for you and permanent sight.
