How about make it safe for women to be pregnant and birth.

How about support women in career and motherhood.

How about quit murdering and raping women.

How about confronting your gender about their violence against women?

How about focusing on WHY women are not choosing children!

Ah no. That would be too difficult. Let’s just scream at women to have babies Let’s punish them for not. Let’s murder them for miscarriages and so called “abortions”to save their own life. with zero knowledge of how dangerous it is to be pregnant and birth In this country.

Women are not “choosing” career over children. They were forced to make that choice by this toxic patriarchy. Oh how the patriarchy loves to blame women.

How about you start a men’s group to teach them how to communicate. Compromise, share, equity, equality , not gaslight and NOT be violent. And generally not be narcissistic p-ricks ?

How about that.

When you try to FORCE anyone to do anything. They WILL dig in their heels and say f you. The country is saying a big f you to FORCING people to live and believe as they do How about stop that shit? 💩

QUIT blaming women.

This right here, I'm not having kids because it's not safe to in this country. It's really not safe the be a woman here period. Additionally it is not affordable to be able to. My husband and I barely get by as it is and we both have good healthcare jobs. It's not right to bring a child into the world if we cannot support them properly.

He’s not. But something went terribly wrong for this country to have ended up like this.

People aren’t having any many kids because they can’t afford them. You are older, maybe check into childcare costs these days. Also big family- bigger vehicles- more expensive. Most families cannot rely on one income in today’s economy- both parents have to work. College tuition with multiple children on one salary- pretty much impossible for low-middle class families .

I'm a female. I’m aware of the current low birth rates, but instead of blaming working women for that, I suggest to take a deep look at a system that forces both members of a couple to work to cover minimum needs, both need to have two and three jobs because that way the employer doesn't have to pay for benefits, consequently, both have to work crazy and exhausting schedules, and leave little or non free-time or for leisure. Do you really think that those conditions are conducive to procreation?

I totally agree with you: no body can have it both ways; if you want babies, let's create the social and economic conditions that allow people to want, have and enjoy sex. (I restricted the words I really wanted to use in my last sentence.)

Try making some changes in minimum wage, parental leave, health care, preschool….the generation of child bearing age can’t pay off college debt or pay their rent because of our economic policies so don’t dare blame them. Our minimum wage in 1968 would be $24/hour today and college was cheaper. We seniors made sure we got ours and our past 50 years of policies have left them in the lurch so please, don’t now tell them to have children to take care of us.

What does this clown care and who is to say “you’re not having babies?” He’s lucky he didn’t directly say “you women are not having babies” because other women like me will say to him “go fuck yourself dude” and mind your own damn business. Women are out doing men when it comes to reaching as high as they can in every venture they take because you 👆👉👇👈🖕men have been making women their concubines for centuries. If our “white” society dies in this country he isn’t going to be here to see it. Shut up and sit down!

People aren't having babies because there's too many people on this planet already and we're killing it. We don't need more babies to provide more consumers to please the capitalists.

No matter politics. Families can’t afford to have kids anymore. Other countries have made it ao that making the choice to have a family or not is not an economic issue, but a matter of personal preference. Healthcare, maternity leave, childcare, and affordable education are all within reach. The US refuses to help families grow families. Forcing women to have kids is not the solution. Make it easy and affordable and women will not have to make a choice between family and career.

When talking about large numbers of people, keep in mind changes in social behavior are not an internal choice or collective moral failure nearly as much as a symptom of structural change, a collective adaptation to new pressures and challenges. People are having less babies across the globe, except in areas of very high poverty rates. Why is that? There are many potential reasons individually, but in general the developed world has consumed the family incentive and turned us into a workforce that merely subsists. We are serfs, not land owners. Everything is now commodified into profit-driven casinos. None of this incentivizes people toward having children, and to be frank 9 billion people is not sustainable. We are consuming Earth’s resources much more rapidly than we could ever sustain no matter how renewable our technology becomes. Society and capitalism will need to adapt, voluntarily or via a series of collapses and tragedies.

There are plenty of white babies. They are born to the wealthiest and the poorest who live in anti-abortion states. The ones in the middle are just trying to hang on. Japan started giving financial incentives and supporting child care.

Dude… the people coming here have been doing this for a long time and enriching our country because of it… BTW, their taxes do not yield the any benefit! But this B.S. about not having babies… ? ! Since when has ANY white child (who doesn’t already live on a family farm ) been taught to grow up and work on a large corporate farm?!!!! You are deluded if you think *any white person will become a farm laborer… another big reason we are grateful for migrants coming here. You are not thinking straight, buddy.

Hey, Frank, my two highly educated daughters are likely walking away from motherhood because of the conditions in the world into which they'd bring a child.

If our society changes because of this, so what? The world in which both of us were born into is gone.

The republicans just took away Medicaid. Who’s paying for the 20k hospital bill to have that baby. They took away snap and early education. Where’s the money coming from to feed this child. If they take away head start who pays for the daycare for this child. The mom making minimum wage that even afford the roof over her head because landlords are charging what the market will bear not what people can afford?

Let it collapse.
