Whatever our disagreements and differences may be, let's remember that we have REAL enemies abroad that wish to do us harm. The last thing we need is to help them by dividing ourselves at home.
Democrats Do understand Putin and the other dictator’s of the world are enemies. That’s Why we are freaking out Frank. We are dumbstruck that our fellow Americans have been propagandized to the point of thinking he’s not so bad and we should probably support him rather than Ukraine.
We mad as hell that our fellow citizens in the congress block every step of progress while spewing hateful lies about our fellow human beings. Not to mention they don’t care about our home (earth) being habitable.
I’ve worked hard to remain compassionate towards folks on the right and will welcome them with open arms should they figure out they’ve been conned. However, I cannot condone or poo poo the danger they are putting everyone in. And not just in this country. The international order that keeps us fat and happy will crumble if the US joins the axis of evil.
The evangelical/republican party shows zero interest in either adapting or refraining from giving aid and comfort to Putin, who has become their preferred leader.

There can be no "uniting" when half the population refuses to unite and actively works against union
I have a friend on the far left who says he might vote for Trump because America is evil. If Trump is elected, America will fragment, and life will be better for the Palestinians and others. I agree with him that we are not a particularly virtuous nation, but I think he has too much faith in the good that can come out of chaos and conflict.
