A wide open conversation with Brian Cranley about his book The Call of Wonder, the Big Bang, Aquinas, beauty, doubt, reason, and why mystery still outpaces logic.
Awesome that you read three books a week. Make space for these two:
"The Universe is a Green Dragon: A Cosmic Creation Story"
"Cosmogenesis: An Unveiling of the Expanding Universe"
Both by Brian Swimme, a mathematical cosmologist. The first presents an understanding of our spiritual nature that's missing in this conversation. It's brilliantly deduced in a lineage from Teilhard de Chardin to Thomas Berry to Brian. The second is his journey of how he came to the understanding in Green Dragon.
You are in for an enormous treat, not only from the books -- with the first one being an easy read, where I closed my door till I finished reading it -- but from meeting my favorite male person, who I sought out after I read Green Dragon decades ago. We aren't related.

I write a lot about Brian. I think what he is saying is the hope of the world, for us to move from selfishness to altruism. No need to look, but in case you want to: https://suzannetaylor.substack.com/s/brian-thomas-swimme
